Description:

The Community Partnerships Project Coordinator will contribute to grant activities that support the Office of Community Partnerships with administrative activities related to community partner and preceptor recruitment onboarding, tracking, and contracting processes.

This position is grant funded and is contingent, in part, upon the continued receipt of these funds. We expect the position to be funded through June 30, 2027 and we will notify you if this changes. Payment of accrued but unused Paid Time Off will be in accordance with 7.5.1.3 Payment of Accrued Leave Upon Termination.

Duties:

  • Coordinates and manages all activities related to a major project or projects in a College or Department.
  • Interfaces and serves as liaison with Campus, College and Department administration and external partners to accomplish project(s) outcomes.
  • Leads the successful implementation using basic planning techniques.
  • Establishes and maintains on-going reporting process.
  • Attends meetings, workgroup sessions and seminars as needed.
  • Provides training and develops on-going training as needed.
  • Organizes and coordinates administrative and clerical functions to include managing the Office of Community Partnerships’ calendar, meeting requests, processing travel needs, and other administrative duties.
  • Manages and assists with tracking affiliation agreements for external community partnerships for the College of Medicine, School of Community Medicine and the Physician Associate Program. Works with internal and external partners to execute affiliation agreements in a timely manner.
  • Performs related duties as assigned or as required to successfully fulfill functions of the position.

Educational requirements:

Desired Skills:

Required Education: Bachelor's degree, AND:

  • 24 months of project management or related experience.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 72 months of related experience.

  • Advanced organization and communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and judgment when following broad instructions.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize workload.
  • Advanced level of analytical, evaluative, and constructive thinking.
  • Communicate effectively and listens attentively.

    • Sit for prolonged periods. Communicate effectively and listen. Use of a computer. Manual dexterity.
  • Environmental:
    • Standard Office Environment

Departmental Preferences:

  • Solid understanding of contracts and/or legal terminology preferred.
  • Advanced skills in MC Office, including Excel is preferred.
  • Skilled at handling difficult situations with patience and diplomacy.
  • Capable of multitasking while maintaining attention to detail and service quality.
  • Committed to ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term client relationships.
