The CCSG Support and Program Engagement Senior Project Coordinator (SPC) will serve as the manager of the project coordinator team. The SPC will supervise the daily workload and projects of the Project Coordinators (PCs), establish best practices/policies/procedures, work with the Office Director to ensure team objectives are meet. The SPC will also be responsible for project coordination of senior leadership meetings and initiatives, as determined by the Office Director. Duties include organizing meetings, tracking objectives for evaluation, preparing reports and presentations, etc.

Duties:

  • Coordinates all activities related to the project(s).
  • Ensures analysis, redesign, planning and implementing processes are developed, initiated, and supported to allow the department to achieve its financial, quality, and service goals on the project(s).
  • Ensures all project processes and outcomes are consistent with the vision and values of the department.
  • Responsible for assigned projects and develops planning for the department.
  • Maintains department goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, to include but not limited to process improvement plans, assist with operating budgets and project methodology.
  • Ensures resources are available and applied appropriately to achieve performance goals in a timely manner.
  • Uses tracking tools for all projects and summarizes individual project progress to management. Assist with preparation of reports and surveys.
  • Maintains effective internal and external communication regarding project management efforts while providing information to management.
  • Participates in meetings and committees.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of communication plans.
  • Function as primary administrative support for all SCC research leadership meetings. Duties include scheduling meetings, coordination of meeting logistics, documentation of meeting minutes, and coordinating communication to meeting attendees.

Educational requirements:

  • high school

Desired Skills:

Required Education: Bachelor's degree, AND:

  • 48 months of project management experience.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 96 months of related experience.

Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Basic data analysis and general understanding of database concepts.
  • Ability to organize and work in stressful situations to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
