Position Overview Responsible for leading all sales support functions within the Western Hemisphere HT& I business, driving excellence, efficiency, and a superior customer experience. This role enhances the productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization by optimizing processes, tools, and analytics, and by fostering strong cross-functional collaboration that supports every stage of the quote-to-order cycle.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Support Leadership- Manage all WH HT& I sales support functions, including Inside Sales, Applications Engineering, and Sales Support Specialists.
- Ensure all the sales support roles deliver exceptional internal and external customer service.
- Develop and execute training and development plans to build capability, engagement, and career growth across all sales support roles.
- Partner with Planning, Manufacturing, Operations, Product Management, and Commercial Process teams to align on sales strategies, priorities, and process improvements.
- Lead internal initiatives focused on improving the customer experience throughout the quote-to-order process.
Sales Process & Efficiency- Oversee all quote-to-order activities for HT& I products and services, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant execution.
- Collaborate with Commercial Process and Regional Sales leadership to optimize and standardize end-to-end sales processes.
- Drive process consistency, accountability, and best practice adoption across the sales organization.
- Lead and manage commercial and contract reviews in accordance with company policy, ensuring compliance and governance.
- Recommend and implement tools, templates, and reporting improvements to enhance sales productivity and improve customer experience.
Sales Systems & Data Management- Ensure Salesforce data accuracy and compliance within the sales support functions to support reliable forecasting, pipeline visibility, and metric reporting.
- Track and report key performance indicators (quote turnaround, PO conversion, case resolution, etc.) and address performance gaps.
- Deliver monthly commercial performance reports to sales leadership, providing actionable insights.
- Lead the monthly forecasting review with to ensure accuracy and consistency across all regions.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and support business decisions that drive growth, efficiency, and profitability.
Customer Support & Compliance- Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and specifications from quote through order fulfillment.
- Support sales and management teams with customer requests, proposals, meetings, and negotiations as needed.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in commercial operations, sales support, or process improvement within a sales-driven organization.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, quoting systems, and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and process management skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for efficiency and excellence.
- Experience supporting technical or engineered products preferred.
Travel Requirement: Up to 25%, including international travel
