OverviewQuality Assurance Specialist uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services
Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in solving problems while working independently with multiple functions and personnel with minimal guidance.
- Coordinate with the Quality Manager to set annual objectives and provide annual reviews for applicable stakeholders.
Develop relationships with employees to support the quality efforts in manufacturing, job run data analysis and tool build assembly. - Coordinate with the Quality Manager to provide assistance for other Quality functions as necessary.
- Coordinate with functional Mangers to create, document, and train employees on quality management systems procedure and processes.
- Coordinate with the Data Analysis Quality Control group and offer constructive input to the DA QC and Training group processes and procedures related to quality performance.
- Utilize statistics, problem solving methods and other quality tools to assist the root cause investigation process related to Tool Run failure related to sensor coverage loss or other inspection anomalies.
- Assist Quality Assurance Engineering in the development of risk assessment FMEAs, Control Plans, Audit Plans and Quality Systems Training presentations and support procedures.
- Assist in the reporting of quality performance metrics and integrate the various functional quality outputs to quality dashboards for organizational reporting.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to perform Quality standup meetings to disposition non-conformities to product of service output.
- Monitor or Audit the processes to ensure all standards, policies, procedures and processes are being performed as specified.
- Schedule and manage the performance of audits of the product and service realization processes to ensure compliance.
- Participate in the review and revision of Quality Procedures and Instructions as applicable
- Provide reports on the Quality performance as required.
- Work closely with the functional group's designated quality representatives in Data Analysis, Global Operations Support, Production and Global Field Support as applicable to product and service delivery requirements.
Experience- 3- 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or similar/applicable role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with functional groups.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal guidance.
- Understanding of manufacturing and tool build assembly.
