This position primarily serves patients seeking walk-in and same-day care for acute illnesses, minor injuries, routine health concerns, and other primary care needs.The Family Nurse Practitioner is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and educating patients while working collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and the healthcare team. The ideal candidate is adaptable, clinically confident, compassionate, and comfortable caring for a diverse patient population in a fast-paced walk-in environment. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Adheres to the American Medical Association or other appropriate professional code of ethics. Provide comprehensive primary and same-day care to patients across the lifespan, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Communicates effectively and efficiently with patients, coworkers, and other members of the care team. Demonstrates clinical proficiency in field through peer review and direct observation by members of the care team. Works well with other team members of the interdisciplinary care team. Provides comprehensive primary care medical services within the scope of licensure, approved IHCRC privileges, and professional ethics standards, augmented by continued training and/or certification, community standards, and experience. Maintains appropriate documentation in EHR system. Participates in company meetings. Actively pursues quality improvement using GPRA measures, AAAHC recommendations. Other duties as assigned.
