Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities is hiring a SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIAN (No guaranteed hours; hours offered as needed) in Bowling Green, OH. This is a full-time position.
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Custodian Substitute. The Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities (WCBDD) coordinates services for over 1, 000 people with developmental disabilities in Wood County. CUSTODIAN SUBSTITUTE Civil Service Appointment: UnclassifiedBi-Weekly Hours: Intermittent (No guaranteed hours; hours offered as needed)FLSA: Non-ExemptHealthcare Benefits: In-EligibleNormal Working Hours: M-F, between 8: 00am 10: 00pm; hours may vary according agency need Job Responsibilities: Sweeps, mops, vacuums, washes walls, cleans, dusts, clean and empty trash receptacles; cleans and disinfects all restrooms facilities (toilets, sinks, urinal, shower stalls, etc.); refurbishes and stocks supplies and closets; operates and maintains custodial equipment.Locks and unlocks buildings, offices, and classrooms upon request.Request, maintains, and distributes needed supplies (paper products and cleaning products) as needed.On a continuous basis, inspects building and equipment for needed repairs or replacement, evidence of fire, illegal entry and/or theft of property, and reports findings to the Custodial Supervisor.Duties such as, but not limited to representing agency to community through attendance at meetings or presentations before groups. Attend conferences, workshops, etc. designed to enhance professional growth. Assume other related duties as assigned by supervisor and/or administration.
