Required Skills and Knowledge: Excellent customer service skills, satisfactory attendance and basic computer skills.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors with empathy and compassion, identifying patient and family needs, and ensuring comfort and safety throughout their visit. Monitor and manage hospital lobbies and waiting areas to uphold organizational policies, safety standards, and a welcoming environment.
  • Serve as a liaison between visitors and clinical teams, coordinating patient visits, facilitating communication, and supporting service recovery and patient concerns. Maintain patient census, visitor logs, confidentiality, and respond to inquiries regarding patient location and condition.
  • Escort visitors as needed, assist with wayfinding, manage telephone communications, and utilize the electronic medical record to locate patient and department information. Build positive relationships with staff and stakeholders, support policy interpretation, assist with volunteer training, attend required meetings and trainings, and recognize the special needs of diverse patient age groups.
