Job Description
UC Health, LLC is hiring a Utility Plant Engineer, IUOE, Full Time. Varied Shifts in Cincinnati, OH. This is a full-time position.
This position is responsible for monitoring, operating, trouble shooting and performing all preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance to all equipment associated with high-pressure steam boilers. Responsible for uninterrupted, efficient, safe and economical operation of all equipment.Minimum Qualifications:
Provides quality workmanship in response to work orders and preventive maintenance schedules. Collaborates effectively with coworkers and management to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
Job Function: Monitoring Systems
Monitors and records operating system parameters, including boiler and chiller loads, water usage, steam generation, and chiller discharge temperatures. Identifies, documents, and reports any deviations from expected system performance.
Job Function: Monitoring Energy Center Operations
Monitors all Energy Center equipment to ensure uninterrupted heating and cooling services throughout the campus. Identifies operational issues and takes appropriate action to maintain system reliability.
Job Function: Preventive Maintenance

- Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Valid Ohio Stationary Engineer License required.
- Valid Ohio High-Pressure Boiler Operator License required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of related experience required.
- Five (5) or more years of related experience preferred.
