UC Health is hiring for a PRN Student Radiation Technologist for the Radiology MRI department at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
The Student Radiology Technologist supports the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services under the direct supervision of licensed Radiologic Technologists and Radiologists. This position is designed to provide hands-on clinical experience while the student develops technical competence, patient care skills, and professional behaviors in accordance with established protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in a Radiology Technology program (or pending enrollment) that is certified by the JCERT or a graduate of a Radiology Technology Program certified by the JCERT and awaiting Licenses as a Radiographer.
- Must achieve CPR certification within 8 weeks of employment.
- YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: No prior professional radiology experience required.

- Basic understanding of radiographic procedures and anatomy appropriate to educational level.

- Comply with all hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with clerical or operational tasks within the imaging department, such as answering calls, as assigned.
- Research patient's previous exams and reports in EPIC.
- Demonstrate professional conduct, teamwork, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
