Description:

Performs painting, plastering, drywall finishing and wall covering work.High School Diploma or GED - Minimum Required ? Associates Degree - Preferred Degree | National Association of Medical Staff Services Certification as Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) (preferred) | 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience - Minimum Required
  • Performs skilled painting, plastering, and drywall finishing, wall covering work; prepares work surfaces and areas by sanding, masking furniture and equipment, scraping walls, etc.; repairs cracks and holes; performs minor glazing; mixes plaster, mixes and matches paints and stains; applies paint using rollers, brushes and sprayers; may inspect buildings and equipment; applies and finishes plaster using standard or specialized tools; maintains related equipment; vinyl installation and repair.
  • May perform miscellaneous paint shop duties; caulks tubs and showers; repairs walls, floors, walks and other parts of buildings by replacing ceramic tile, patches of concrete and expansion joint compounds; drives truck.
  • Interprets prints, manuals, and diagrams to determine layout, location, parts and supplies needed to complete all assigned workorders/tasks in an efficient, safe and timely manner.
  • Accurately documents time and work performed on each task worked on. -
  • May be required to inspect work performed by outside vendors and contractors ensuring all work meets or exceeds all federal, state, and city codes and standards.
  • Assists other trade workers in performance of routine maintenance, renovation and construction projects.
  • Maintains housekeeping conditions as prescribed by area.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
