Maintains the operation of all building automation systems and associated equipment. This person is expected to diagnose and perform complicated repairs, calibrations and modifications to systems or components.Minimum Required: Required: High School Diploma or GED. Preferred: Associates degree (preferred HVAC). | Preferred: Energy Management certification. | 4-6 years related work.Performs installation, calibrations inspection and repair of energy consuming systems and related equipment. Performs energy audits and or reports on systems, components and equipment insuring all items are operated within guidelines as determined by the manufacturer, design engineers, ASHRAE, Federal, State or local codes and regulations.

Makes changes to sequence of operations, controls programming, and associated prints documentation for the purposes of reducing overall energy consumption insuring final environmental conditions meet or exceed ASHRAE or hospital guidelines.

Interprets prints, manuals, and diagrams to determine layout, location, parts and supplies needed to complete all assigned work orders/tasks in an efficient, safe and timely manner.

Accurately documents time and work performed on each task worked on.

May be required to inspect work performed by outside vendors and contractors insuring all work meets or exceeds all federal, state, and city codes and standards.

Assists other trade workers in performance of routine maintenance, renovation and construction projects.

Maintains housekeeping conditions as prescribed by area.
