Preferred MBA. || Preferred: CPA || Minimum Required: 3 - 5 years equivalent experience1. Manage the month end accounting close, prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations, and resolve outstanding reconciling items to ensure accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
2. Evaluate and implement processes to create efficiencies and best practices as well as maintaining proper internal controls. Conduct accounting guidance research and prepare accounting memos to document new procedures. Prepare audit work papers and assist with the annual financial audit review (June 30th year end).
3. Working with internal departments and hospital financial management, assure accurate and timely accumulation of data, and assist in the proper capitalization and disposal of fixed assets.
4. Hire, train, and supervise the accounting services staff, including an ongoing review of productivity and quality control measures, preparing quarterly and annual performance evaluations of the staff, and enforcing all departmental policies
