Hospital registration involves arriving patients into the Emergency Department (ED) and Trauma Bay. This process includes accurately verifying each patient's identity, gathering demographic and contact information, setting up accident claims, obtaining signatures on hospital documents and including consent forms and financial responsibility, collecting copays, scanning patient documents, completing registration work queues, and verifying insurance details. Completes required MSP and Advance Directives questionnaires for all appropriate patients. It is essential to prioritize all insurance coverages as primary, secondary, and tertiary, while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and efficient patient flow. The quality of registration data collected has a significant impact on the organization's revenue and reimbursement
Education: High school diploma or GED required
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in registration, billing, customer service, or a managed care organization preferred

Productivity and Communication:
- Maintain the department's established productivity and performance standards. Communication should be conducted through the Teams platform and Microsoft email. Receives monthly Performance Audit. Report improvements, problems, and changes related to registration to department management. Other duties may also be assigned within the Admitting and Registration department.
