TrueCommerce is seeking a forward-thinking AI Engineer with 7+ years of experience to design, build, and deploy AI solutions that enhance our productions and user experiences. The AI Engineer will focus on applying artificial intelligence and machine learning across our business from improving EDI transactions, to automating ERP integrations, and delivering automation in our workflow. The AI Engineer will work closely across business stakeholders and our technical teams to bring models into production and ensure they deliver measurable value to our internal teams and our customers.

As an AI Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Develop and implement cutting-edge AI solutions to augment our products and process, focusing on functionality and efficiency.
• Identify inefficiencies and apply AI where it makes the most impact on ROI, whether through AI agents, automation, optimization, or predictive insights.
• Design and deploy intricate machine learning models to address complex challenges, to simplify and automate experiences and workflow.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to deliver AI-driven features that improve customer value.
• Collaborate with transformation teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and tailor AI agents to specific needs and challenges.
• Train users on AI tools to help adoption and long-term success.
• Stay current on advancements in AI, LLMs, and applied ML to recommend new approaches and tools.

Requirements for Success:

• Bachelors degree required, Master's preferred (Computer Science, AI, Data Science or related field)
• 7+ years of experience as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or related role, ideally within SaaS, ERP, EDI, or supply chain technology.
• Strong programming skills in Python (plus experience with Java, C++, or similar is a plus).
• Hands-on expertise with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Experience deploying models via APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-native services (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI).
• Strong background in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Understanding of MLOps best practices
• Excellent problem-solving, innovation, and communication skills.
