Role Summary

Third Federal Savings & Loan Association is seeking a detail‑oriented and technically motivated Endpoint Systems Administrator to support the administration of our enterprise endpoint environment. This role assists with device deployment, configuration, security, and lifecycle management, leveraging platforms such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, HaloITSM, and Group Policy. The ideal candidate contributes to endpoint stability, participates in vulnerability‑remediation efforts, and supports automation initiatives under senior guidance while developing toward more advanced endpoint management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration and upkeep of Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) for software deployment, patching, and compliance.
  • Implement and support Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and Configuration Baselines by following established standards and architectural guidance.
  • Facilitate Windows Autopilot and modern device provisioning workflows, escalating complex issues when needed.
  • Monitor and help remediate endpoint vulnerabilities using tools such as Qualys, WSUS, or other scanning platforms.
  • Assist with application packaging and enterprise deployments under guidance from senior administrators.
  • Utilize Patch My PC to support third‑party application patching and ensure endpoint software compliance.
  • Provide escalated endpoint and software support in collaboration with our senior staff.
  • Maintain and update OS images and task sequences as part of the endpoint engineering lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with IS Security to enforce endpoint protection policies and ensure all endpoint management activities meet internal security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate and interpret reports on compliance, patch status, and asset inventory.
  • Contribute to optimizing the IT ticketing system by supporting workflow improvements, reporting accuracy, and user experience enhancements.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining automation scripts and runbooks to streamline IT operations.
  • Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides to support team knowledge and operational consistency.
  • Support project delivery in collaboration with project teams and IT departments.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in endpoint-focused administration roles (such as Endpoint Administration, Desktop Engineering, or advanced IT Support).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune and SCCM in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and Entra AD.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management tools and remediation practices, with the ability to follow established remediation procedures.
  • Experience utilizing ITSM/ticketing systems to document work, manage queues and support user-facing operations.
  • Exposure to PowerShell scripting for basic automation, data gathering, or troubleshooting tasks.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively across IT teams.
  • Committed to developing proficiency in automation, vulnerability remediation, modern endpoint management practices, and enterprise configuration tooling.
  • Preferred:
    • Knowledge of endpoint patching solutions, including third-party tools like Patch My PC.
    • Familiarity with HaloITSM or comparable enterprise ITSM and CMDB systems for workflow, reporting, asset tracking, and support operations.
    • Basic ability to write and understand SQL queries for reporting and/or dashboarding tasks.
    • Exposure to Smartsheet for basic template usage, task tracking, or workflow coordination.
    • Awareness of automation frameworks including Azure Automation or Power Automate, with a desire to build deeper automation skills.

Our anticipated pay range for this position is $60, 000 - $80, 000 per year. At Third Federal, we’re committed to transparency throughout the hiring process. The pay range listed is based on relevant market data, role responsibilities, and skills required for the position. Individual pay will be thoughtfully determined by a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.
