Description:

What will you do?
    • Monitor paint line and epoxy line equipment including pre-treatment systems, spray booths, ovens, and conveyors.
    • Adjust equipment settings to maintain optimal performance.
    • Perform routine inspections on paint and epoxy line machinery and equipment.
    • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and process issues.
    • Inspect finished products for defects in coatings.
    • Conduct thickness and adhesion tests to ensure compliance with specifications.
    • Document quality checks including chemical level monitoring and report deviations.
    • Follow all safety protocols including PPE usage and hazardous material handling.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
    • Comply with environmental regulations related to paint and chemical usage.
    • Participate in process improvement initiatives.
    • Suggest and implement changes to improve line efficiency and reduce waste and maximize productive operations
    • Provide feedback to maintenance and operations on required support and productivity opportunities.

  • Ability to understand pump systems and cleaning chemistry
  • Challenge the status quo on how a process is running and be willing to implement improvements
  • Clear communication with stakeholders on the shop floor

  • HS Diploma/GED Required
  • Minimum 2 Year degree in technical field
  • Familiarity with powder coating and liquid paint systems.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and safety guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing preferred
  • Experience with computers, MS Office
  • Ability to prepare, read and interpret written reports, instructions, procedures and guidelines
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • English language proficiency (reading, writing, oral) is required
