Description:

As a Plastipak Traffic Coordinator, you coordinate routing, shipping and tracking of materials and products. In addition, you are the primary point of contact for outbound product loads and pick-ups. You prioritize safety, accuracy and communication in all that you do.

You Will

  • Assure shuttle schedules are correctly aligned to production schedules

  • Coordinate loading of outbound shipments and shuttles, making sure all documentation and tracking are properly completed. Create pick lists for outbound loads.

  • Continuously communicate with internal and external parties, including Logistics, Customer Service, Production, drivers/carriers and customers, keeping all well-informed.

  • Coordinate shipments of raw materials, parts and products between production areas and warehouses.

  • Grow your knowledge & skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences

You Have

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting

  • Computer navigation and data entry skills, with experience using Microsoft Office applications

  • Solid communication skills, both in speaking and writing

  • Strong attention to detail, and accuracy when managing multiple items at the same time
