Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods from suppliers to distribution centers and from distribution centers to customers.

2. Arrange and monitor shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and resolving any issues that may arise.

3. Work closely with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to negotiate rates and optimize transportation costs.

4. Continuously assess and improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

5. Oversee and manage inventory levels at various locations, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory.

6. Implement inventory control measures to track and manage stock accuracy.

7. Ensure that all shipping and customs documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with regulations.

8. Stay informed about international shipping regulations and ensure adherence to customs requirements.

9. Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, warehouse, and sales, to ensure seamless coordination of logistics activities.

10. Communicate effectively with external partners to resolve issues and provide timely updates on shipment status.

11. Address and resolve any issues or delays in the transportation process promptly to minimize impact on customer satisfaction.

12. Proactively identify potential problems and implement preventive measures.

13. Utilize data analysis tools to assess logistics performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.

14. Generate regular reports on key logistics metrics for management review.

15. Position has an on-call schedule.
