Job Description
ORBIS Corporation is hiring a Operator-in-Training All Shifts in Mentor, OH. This is a full-time position.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Learn basic assembly skills
2. Learn to read print drawings
3. Wear yellow vest during OIT period
4. Build and insert assembled interiors into plastic containers
5. Perform self and peer quality inspection during assembly to ensure quality is maintained
6. Work with Cell Lead to develop assembly skills
7. Alert Cell Lead, Team Lead, Set Up and/or Supervisor to any issues with the safety within the cell or quality of product being assembled
8. Work in various cells throughout shift
9. Verify parts and material to the work order
10. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed)
11. Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities
12. Other duties as assigned

3. Successfully complete 30-60-90 Day Progress Report
4. Successfully complete OIT JTTF Assessment
5. Maintain attendance record of 3 points or less
6. Remain in position for at least 180 days
Education/Certification
Level Required - None
Level Desired - High school diploma or equivalent
Work Experience
Required - Entry level
Desired - 6 months of assembly manufacturing
