- Lead daily production activities while fostering a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a hands-on leader who is actively present on the production floor rather than behind a desk.
- Utilize your manufacturing knowledge to understand and support production processes, equipment, and product flow.
- Drive key performance metrics including safety, quality, machine efficiency, labor efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Balance operational priorities with employee coaching, development, and engagement.
- Support capacity planning and staffing activities to meet customer demands and production schedules.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that drive operational excellence.
- Provide guidance on staffing, training, performance management, and employee relations.
- Support and engage with forklift operators and production associates to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Use critical thinking and sound judgment to make decisions, take ownership of outcomes, and drive accountability within the team.
- Manage workforce administration responsibilities such as timekeeping, attendance tracking, vacation approvals, and employee scheduling.
- Utilize systems such as SAP and Microsoft Office to support daily operations and reporting.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant manufacturing leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of production processes and manufacturing operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP.
- Experience with Workday or similar HR/timekeeping systems.
- Forklift operation knowledge or experience working closely with material handling teams.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.

Work Environment
- Primarily based in a manufacturing production environment with some office responsibilities.
- This is an active, interactive role that requires significant time spent on the production floor.
- Frequent walking, standing, and engagement with employees throughout the facility.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- Occasional travel may be required.
