Maintenance Technician - OH (2nd or 3rd Shifts)

Mar-Bal, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for 2nd or 3rd Shift at our AltraSet material mixing and compounding facility. Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility failuresMaintain machine and facility preventative maintenance scheduleReport and correct safety issues as directedMust be able to lift, push or pull 70 lbs.Must be able to stand for long periods of timeMust maintain fork lift licensePerform facility grounds maintenance as neededUpdate, rebuild, and relocate equipmentLook for and suggest ways to improve equipment and processesWork in a safety conscious mannerMaintain good housekeepingMaintain inventory of supplies and request reorder as requiredCommunicate machine and system issues across shiftsMust be able and willing to work weekends and over time as needed Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Understands who our customers (other plant employees) are and what good customer service meansExperience in basic machine/facility troubleshooting and repairMust have proven basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and electrical.Welding and torch use is a plusGeneral understanding of preventative maintenance processes and proceduresGood attitude toward training and learning new skillsSkilled in the use of hand and power toolsStrong time management skillsAbility to maintain focus while working individually
