Description:

Lucas County Information Systems has an opening for a Governance, Risk and Compliance Manager (GRM) is responsible for ensuring that the department operates in full compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and legal requirements and is also responsible for overseeing and managing compliance with legal, regulatory and internal security policies within the organization. This role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing compliance programs and procedures, identifying potential risks, and advising senior management on compliance-related matters. The GRM will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks, implement best practices, and enforce security protocols and compliance initiatives to minimize the organizations exposure to legal and regulatory risks.

Manage and update Lucas County Information Services information security plan including but not limited to:

  • Documenting processes and procedures for LCIS
  • Vendor Management requirements
  • Documenting control processes
  • Document and manage hardware and software standards
  • Access control
  • Audit processes, procedures, and compliance
  • Ensure compliance for Lucas County departments and agencies to Information Security Plan
