- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Excellent people skills; demonstrated ability to work with a variety of management styles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new computer applications
- Ability to handle routine tasks and resolve issues with a high level of independence and initiative
- Excellent planning, organizational, and follow-up skills with close attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to effectively meet deadlines

Desired
- Any department assistant or executive assistant experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiar with corporate policies and procedures, organizational levels and reporting relationships- Coordinate routine matters; on-site, off-site and conference call meetings; travel; and various other assignments
- Manage the security of confidential, sensitive information
- Track departmental expenses and yearly budgets
- Maintain department time (e.g., vacation, schedules, and other paid time off)
- Prepare, compile and/or distribute various quarterly and period reporting materials, including: Blue Books (quarterly), Quarterly Business Review Pre-read, Stat Book (quarterly), Board updates (period)
- Review certain system access lists sent quarterly from KTD; initiate and process routine APT requests for department individuals
- Prepare, input and process Local Checks for properly submitted requests at General Office (G.O.)
- Process department invoices, and submit for payment
- Act as KRONOS administrator for several finance departments at G.O.
- Organize and route varying quantities of General Office mail to appropriate departments/individuals
- Organize and oversee scheduling of 4 G.O. pool cars
- Maintain tax Corporate Accounting department files
- Ensure new associates receive and the proper onboarding requirements, including tax forms to complete, working with Human Resources for new hire set up and coordinating technology needs
- Ensure accurate, efficient processing and disposition of written correspondence, as well as verbal communications, directed to the executive and/or the staff
- Develop a team concept with the vice president department executives in order to provide, as an extension of the V.P.s and Directors, the leadership and direction necessary to exemplify the philosophy of that office
