Description:
Responsible for accomplishing strategic objectives by overseeing multiple ecommerce projects. Manage large, high-risk programs impacting several cross-functional areas including technology, merchandising, marketing, finance, multiple operations teams, business teams and 3rd party vendors. Lead strategic direction to ensure all projects deliver business value and strategic benefits. Interface with senior leaders, project sponsors and multiple project managers. - 5+ years total Project Management experience
- 3+ years delivering large and/or complex projects across a matrixed organization.
- Bachelor's Degree
- PMP Certification
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to stakeholders and to all levels of seniority
- Proven problem solving and superb organizational skills
- Proven track record of delivering objectives on time, within budget and meeting the business objectives.
- Experience interfacing with software development project managers
Desired - Experience managing projects within a large, multi-channel retailer
- Lead high‑visibility assignments of increasing complexity with substantial independence, exercising strategic judgment while engaging directly with executives.
- Develop and implement assigned projects, including developing scope and approach for each project, developing program roadmaps, dependency maps, benefit realization plans, tactical project plans and tracking project timelines.
- Champion end‑to‑end project execution, ensuring disciplined delivery, financial stewardship, and the full realization of targeted strategic benefits.
- Lead change management and process improvement activities.
- Introduce and maintain project/control management and process improvement methodologies.
- Prioritize project management deliverables based on ecommerce strategies and goals and in conjunction with eCommerce leadership.
- Provide leadership for stakeholders and project team members and apply conflict resolution skills to resolve program and project conflicts.
- Ensure that all project objectives are clearly documented, approved, and delivered to meet expectations.
- Manage the integration of tasks and track and review of project deliverables.
- Manage project risk, develop mitigation plans, and escalate decisions and unresolved issues.
- Create highly collaborative cross-functional partnerships across the organization.
- Present process changes, gain alignment from all functional leaders, and work collaboratively to implement project deliverables.
- Anticipate customer needs and act as the champion for the customer.
