Description:
The CoE Analytics & CCO Manager will promote the use of analytics to enhance specific category strategies, sourcing events and overall sourcing results. Oversee the quality of data and insights provided by market intelligence providers, internal analytics teams and will develop action plans to improve quality, capabilities and accuracy of analytics tools. Work with category teams to identify economic drivers to be able to perform advanced and customized analyses such as should cost, TCO, and benchmarking analyses. - 3 years of management experience with large complex organizations
- Strong understanding of use of data (analytics, business intelligence) and data governance (standards, metadata)
- Ability to build impactful relationship with internal clients, key influencers to effectively
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)
- Ability to synthesize analysis into compelling verbal and written communications and presentations
Desired - MBA or master's degree
- 5 years of experience in an analytics organization, performing tasks within different data governance aspects (quality, standards, reference data, data management)
- 3 years of experience building, and reporting should cost and TCO analyses
- Knowledge of procurement and P2P activities
- Introduce new analytics processes and technologies to drive decision-making based on analysis of internal/external data
- Facilitate and execute the development of reports and insights, to drive performance improvement, provide guidance and support to category management teams
- Oversee performance and manage 3rd parties for market intelligence outsourced process
- Oversee and manage analytics tools performance, functionalities, quality of the data, reporting
- Establish processes to continuously monitor data quality; proactively detect, correct, and prevent invalid data values
- Work with category management teams to understand suppliers cost structure and pricing
- Understand all cost components affecting total ownership of a product and service
- Develop, execute and maintain project plan for each series of category reviews
- Lead development and execution of a gate review process to ensure quality assurance of analytical process
- Ensure cross category coordination during analytical processes
- Review category improvement projections and post-implementation variance analysis
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties: complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
- Create an effective work environment by developing a common vision, communicating of clear objectives, fostering teamwork, recognizing performance, providing on the job coaching
- Work with other functions of the organization on development of data analytics and business intelligence
- Promote use of analytics and support business adoption of business intelligence and self-service reporting
