Description:

Provide administrative support for the department director and managers, and coordinate various projects, as well as assignments, meetings and travel arrangements. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.Minimum
  • Familiarity with corporate policies and procedures, organizational levels and reporting relationships
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong oral/written communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and records
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-starter with the ability to adapt to frequently changing priorities and deadlines

Desired
  • Experience providing support to a large staff and their department
  • Experience within other departments at Kroger
  • Perform assigned administrative duties while providing excellent service
  • Facilitate department contact with senior officers, executives and associates companywide
  • Coordinate routine matters, meetings, travel and various other assignments
  • Exercise discretion and good judgment in setting priorities, answering or directing correspondence and in coordinating various programs/meetings, etc.
  • Prepare and maintain routine and special reports, records, analyses and the department web site
  • Organize and maintain the department's training library
  • Maintain office supply cabinet for the floor and provide general assistance to staff
  • Provide administrative support and problem-solving assistance to ensure the fulfillment of departmental responsibilities
