Our Kimberly-Clark Warren, OH Facility is looking for a safety focused, impact driven Multicraft Partner who is eager to join our fast-paced, high performing Maintenance Team. Through collaboration and teaming, our operating partners regularly apply critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to be industry leaders in Safety, Quality and Production performance targets.

The role of our Multicraft Partner includes the following:

  • Safety is our first priority. We require all Partners to work in a safe manner to consistently identify and correct unsafe acts and conditions. At times, this will include operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes and using rigging
  • Utilize problem solving and decision-making skills to maintain and troubleshoot asset operating equipment in order to ensure machine uptime and elimination of failures.
  • Drive continuous improvement through the support of preventative maintenance, grade changes and autonomous care
  • Build capability in yourself and others in your area of multicraft expertise
  • Actively participant in a self-directed work team system which includes at times providing meaningful feedback to build participation and engagement with team members
  • The ability to document, account for and complete daily performance metrics in both verbal and written formats.
  • Values and supports a rigorous adherence to standards through daily accountability and continuous improvement

In one of our manufacturing roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Have a state and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate.
  • Have basic computer knowledge
  • Work schedule: Monday-Friday day shift and overtime with ability to flex to rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays as plant needs dictate.
  • Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening.
  • Can pass post-offer / pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT).
  • Safety Mindset: Demonstrated prior experience with a focus on working safely and hazard recognition.
  • Ability to learn and regularly utilize mill computer systems such as: Production MRP System (SAP), Manufacturing Execution Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook,
  • Warren Facility is a High-Performance Work Team Culture. You must have the ability, drive and desire to work in a team environment
  • The ideal candidate must have one of the following:
    • Minimum 2-year related technical degree in related manufacturing field, or 5 relevant years of experience with high-speed manufacturing or industrial mechanical and electrical fields; or
  • Consistent and prolonged work history with demonstrated longevity and ability to succeed in work assignments
  • Can physically work on elevated work platforms, catwalks, scaffolding, and enter confined spaces.
  • Technical Experience Preferred:
    • Experience with registration Control Systems
    • Linear Feedback Control Systems
    • Servo Motors and Controllers
    • Industrial/Manufacturing Power and Control Systems
    • PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley preferred)
    • AB Logix platform including integrated motion
    • High-Speed Packaging Equipment operations and troubleshooting
    • Experience with rebuilding and troubleshooting centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, mounting bearings, rigging and lifting practices.
    • Basic pipefitting, welding, cutting, machining, fabrication, and assembly.
    • Exceptional attention to detail in workmanship, demands adherence to standards, well versed in alignment tools, tolerances and fits, and cleanliness standards.
    • Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including rebuilds, understanding of schematic drawings, and general troubleshooting.
    • Experience troubleshooting and repairing power transmission systems.
    • Maintenance Management System (SAP/TALCM) - Create work notifications, plan work orders, confirm time
    • Procurement of Maintenance Materials & Services

Starting Hourly Wage: $40.00 USD

At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. This position is eligible for the starting wage listed above, overtime pay and available pay increases within your first year. You’ll also enjoy a full benefits package, including our 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plan. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.

This role is available for local candidates already authorized to work in the role’s country only. Kimberly-Clark will not provide relocation support for this role.
