As a Lead Technical Program Manager in Consumer & Community Banking and Branch Operations, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions, while simultaneously effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Job responsibilities - Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, translating business requirements into actionable technical tasks, and managing resource allocation and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions.
- Lead multiple projects within the Teller space, with the potential to expand to product-level initiatives in the future.
- Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum; utilize risk management tools such as Clarity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including engineering, product, business stakeholders, and external vendors-to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Facilitate and lead status calls, architecture, design, and testing meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
- Champion the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and process improvement within the team.
- Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage and coordinate workstreams, ensuring seamless integration and delivery across multiple scrum teams (currently working with three scrum teams of eight members each).
- Raise and escalate issues as needed, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact to project delivery.
- Oversee the modernization of legacy systems and drive the implementation of new technologies and processes within the Teller domain.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, progress reports, and post-implementation reviews.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills - 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization.
- Proven proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, PowerPoint, JIRA, Excel, Confluence, and a background in application development.
- Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients.
- Demonstrated experience in attending and contributing to architecture, design, and testing meetings, translating business requirements into technical deliverables.
- Advanced experience in utilizing technical fluency, including knowledge of vendor products and managing vendor relations, to enable on-demand access to shared pools of applications and services.
- Proven track record of effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities.
- Experience in leading workstreams, coordinating across multiple teams, and driving modernization initiatives.
- Ability to facilitate and lead status calls, ensuring clear communication and alignment among all project participants.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise project documentation and reports.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills - Experience leading projects in the Teller or financial services space.
- Familiarity with risk management tools such as Clarity.
- Experience working with multiple scrum teams and coordinating agile delivery across large teams.
- Background in modernizing legacy systems and implementing new technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of business process transformation and change management.
- Experience in product-level program management and scaling initiatives across multiple domains.
- Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master, Agile).
