The Business Management VP is a strategic leader responsible for executive-level reporting, communication, and people engagement across Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Risk's Data, Analytics, and Technology (DAT) team. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator and collaborator, with a demonstrated track record in executive reporting, operational management, and fostering employee engagement. You will provide a cohesive, executive-level view of the work performed by DAT product teams, delivering professional updates to management and business stakeholders. In this role, you will continuously assess business needs, refine priorities, outline deliverables, and proactively identify opportunities and risks. You will also ensure teams maintain compliance with agility guidelines and product controls, supporting a culture of accountability and excellence.
Job Responsibilities: - Deliver executive-level reporting and commentary for senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clarity, consistency, and impact in all communications.
- Foster clear communication flow and strategic alignment by partnering with CCB Risk Product and Technology teams, influencing priorities and supporting global collaboration.
- Oversee day-to-day operational strategies, leveraging strong organizational and planning skills to optimize processes and drive efficiency across the team.
- Collaborate with teams to effectively market the portfolio's book of work, highlighting innovation and new features to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, creativity, and project management expertise to inspire impactful change and continuous improvement.
- Drive the people agenda by creating opportunities for employee engagement, connection, and participation in team functions and activities.
- Embrace and promote new technologies, identifying best use cases to optimize work, enhance efficiency, and share best practices across all teams.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills.- 5 years of experience in a business management role within the financial services industry.
- Advanced MS Office skills for Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, with demonstrated ability to simplify complex subject matter (data and technology) into digestible executive communications.
- Experience taking complex and ambiguous information and refining it into meaningful content and clear action plans.
- Demonstrated initiative and creativity to ensure success in driving employee engagement and collaboration.
- Ability to understand data and technology driven product development and deliver messaging on complex initiatives.
- Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships; experience working with diverse teams across different cultures and locations.
- High attention to detail; follows through to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills - Knowledge of LLM tools available for internal use.
- Intellectual curiosity and propensity to learn new subjects and emerging technology quickly.
- Experience working with financial risk or technology organizations.
