Description:

The Consumer Banking Executive Communications team is looking for a proactive, creative, detail-oriented and passionate communicator with a focus on the employee experience. The ideal candidate will excel in a highly matrixed, fast-paced environment, be an exceptional writer, a problem-solver, and possess an innovative mindset that inspires confidence and trust.

As a Communications Associate, you will support Consumer Branch Banking by creating and implementing high-impact internal communication strategies and supporting key business initiatives. You will work closely with the Head of Branch Banking Communications, other communications partners, senior management, and cross-LOB partners to craft communications for an audience of over 40, 000 people and assist with town halls, conferences, and major signature events.

Job responsibilities:
  • Develop holistic communication strategies for Branch Banking initiatives and campaigns, enhancing awareness and action for key Branch Banking activities, including supporting ongoing communications.
  • Collaborate with communications colleagues, subject matter experts, and business managers to strategically plan and develop communications for varied audiences including organizational announcements, invitations, newsletters, intranet content, town hall materials, talking points, presentations and crisis communications. All communications must follow brand and communication style guides.
  • Create innovative branch employee-facing campaigns to increase awareness and understanding of specific products, tools, processes, and behaviors.
  • Review existing and develop new engagement tactics to deliver impactful messaging to executives, managers, employees, and client-facing colleagues, leveraging all relevant channels (e.g., email, articles, videos, web, etc.) .
  • Coordinating basic aspects of professional meetings and events, including selecting venues and arranging multimedia services and handling logistics such scheduling, flawless executing and meeting client objectives.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • 3+ years of work experience and hold a bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, English or other related area.
  • Ability to produce clear, concise, well-designed communications in a variety of mediums,
  • Ability to digest complex information and simplify it for internal audiences using clear, easy-to-understand and concise language and visuals.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, and a solid command of grammar, style, proofreading and editing techniques is a must.
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize high volume, high priority initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and or/events concurrently with excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be a creative, strategic thinker with a positive attitude, high standards and be committed to delivering high quality communications and must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Significant knowledge of/experience in written communications and partner engagement.
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite required (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
  • Writing samples are required for consideration.
