Description:

Chase is one of the most-followed financial brands, engaging millions across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube. Our Social Media team delivers best-in-class content that empowers people to take control of their financial futures. If you're passionate about audience-first storytelling and data-driven programming-and you love building YouTube channels that educate and inspire-join us.

As a Channel Manager Vice President within Consumer and Community Banking you will support Chase YouTube, where you will own the strategy, programming, and performance of a core flagship channel. In the Vice President role, you will shape the brand's voice on YouTube, lead end-to-end operations, and deliver timely, engaging content for millions across our digital ecosystem.

Job responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive YouTube strategy to drive sustainable channel growth, engagement, and viewership-factoring search and discovery across SEO and geo considerations.
  • Own day-to-day channel operations: editorial calendar, content planning, scheduling, publishing cadence, and playlist architecture for long-form, Shorts, and live programming.
  • Optimize for discovery and retention: craft high-performing titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails; run experiments (e.g., titles, thumbnails, formats, publish times) to improve CTR, average view duration, and audience retention.
  • Analyze performance in YouTube Studio and related analytics tools; translate insights into actionable programming decisions.
  • Set, track, and communicate KPIs (e.g., subscriber growth, watch time, CTR, retention); deliver regular reporting and performance readouts to stakeholders.
  • Partner with creative teams to develop high-quality, on-brand video content-from briefing and scripting to production and post-ensuring consistency with brand, legal, and compliance guidelines.
  • Foster community and loyalty: moderate and respond to comments, leverage Community posts, and cultivate a positive, interactive environment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with YouTube's product and editorial teams; evaluate new features and betas to keep the channel on the leading edge.
  • Share platform insights, best practices, and learnings across global editorial and social teams to drive alignment and scale.
  • Manage content calendars and production workflows; coordinate cross-functionally with marketing, PR, legal, and customer support to align content with broader initiatives.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • 6+ years experience managing professional social channels.
  • Managing and growing a successful YouTube channel with measurable results.
  • Deep understanding of YouTube algorithms, SEO, analytics, and audience development best practices.
  • Demonstrated track record crafting compelling, high-performing titles, descriptions, and thumbnails.
  • Proficiency with video production and editing workflows; ability to edit or provide clear creative feedback.
  • Strong writing and editorial judgment with a keen eye for detail, tone, and accuracy.
  • Leadership experience managing direct reports and partnering cross-functionally and with external agencies.
  • Data fluency and comfort turning insights into programming decisions; strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Hands-on experience with content management/scheduling tools (e.g., Sprinklr) and major social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X).
  • Passion for personal finance and helping people make smarter money decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or related field

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Experience ideally within financial services, media, news, or content-driven organizations
  • Experience with localization and geo-targeting strategies for global audiences.
  • Familiarity with accessibility best practices (captions, metadata).
