DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Provide end-to-end application and infrastructure service delivery in support of successful business operations. Execute policies and procedures that ensure operational stability and availability. Monitor test environments for anomalies, address issues, and drive utilization of standard observability tools. Escalate and communicate issues and solutions to the business and technology stakeholders, actively participating from incident resolution to service restoration. Lead incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, and infrastructure. Collaborate across the firm and vendor system to innovate and adopt new monitoring technologies, and design monitoring solutions that can detect issues within critical user journeys. Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability. Identify and solve technology-related bottlenecks in areas of expertise. Drive continuous service improvements through established processes. Act as the main point of contact during major incidents for critical user journeys. Identify and solve issues quickly to avoid financial losses and reduce customer impacts. Perform targeted flow-triaging during major and critical incidents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or as Applications Support, Computer Systems Architect, Infrastructure Engineer, IT Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or as Applications Support, Computer Systems Architect, Infrastructure Engineer, IT Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Working with IT systems in the Banking financial services domain; Developing monitoring dashboards using Splunk; Developing monitoring dashboards using Dynatrace; Developing monitoring dashboards using Grafana; CI/CD using Jenkins; CI/CD using Jules; Runbook automation using Python; Creating and updating incident reporting dashboards using ServiceNow; Automating manual and procedural troubleshooting using Splunk API; Automating manual and procedural troubleshooting using Python; Automating manual and procedural troubleshooting using Shell Script; HA Proxy; Apache Tomcat; IBM WebSphere; Public cloud, including AWS; IBM MQ.
