The ideal Cook candidate is a motivated culinary professional with at least one year of professional cooking experience, preferably within high-end or fine dining environments. Experience with breakfast preparation and production is highly preferred, as this role plays a key part in supporting The Club's elevated morning dining offerings.
This individual thrives in a premium, guest-focused setting and understands the importance of consistency, presentation, and refined service. They are flexible, dependable, and able to work independently, supporting the daily culinary operations of this new, private club experience.
Full-TimePay Rate: $21.80 per hour
Shift Pattern: AM including weekends and holidays
What will I be doing?As a Cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Prepare and execute elevated, high-quality dishes in alignment with The Club's premium dining standards
- Support and guide culinary team members, providing direction, training, and oversight during service.
- Execute breakfast production efficiently, including egg cookery, griddling, and other morning menu techniques
- Maintain exceptional food presentation and quality, ensuring all menu items meet brand expectations.
- Coordinate with leadership and service teams to ensure smooth communication and efficient service flow.
- Monitor food inventory levels, assist with ordering, and reduce waste through proper rotation and storage.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, including proper handling, labeling, and cleanliness of all food areas.
- Work independently when required, demonstrating strong decision-making and time-management skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
- Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
