POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for achieving annual sales goals and objectives for the business.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Lead the company's sales initiatives to grow revenues and strengthen its market leadership
• Establish and implement short- and long-term goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures
• Manage the preparation and execution of the annual sales business plans and budgets
• Effectively manage the organization's dealer partners in achievement of share gain and sales targets
• Identify product and customer needs.
• Identify, qualify, and develop new and existing customer opportunities
• Create business models, analyzing financial and environmental risks
• Manage market share with major customer classes
• Reconcile escalated customer issues
• All other duties as assigned

Expertise Required/Minimum Qualifications:
• 15+ years of experience in sales, ideally working for a manufacturer selling big ticket capital equipment through dealer channels, as well as direct sales to strategic accounts.
• Experience in commercial/specialty transportation related sales strongly preferred
• Team-oriented, collaborative style which fosters an open and transparent culture built on respect for people and the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical performance
• A track record of success in managing, mentoring, coaching and directing team members
• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience with Lean / TPS strongly preferred
• Travel 50%
