Federal Eagle is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our team. The Accounting Analyst position performs complex accounting and financial tasks. The Accounting Analyst position oversees the reporting and month end closing functions. This is an in-person Monday through Friday position located in West Chester, OH.

• Perform weekly reporting and month-end responsibilities including analyzing, posting, and verifying transactions related to certain general ledger accounts
• Financial statement preparation and review including variance analysis for actual to budget and actual to forecast
• Account reconciliations through compiling and analyzing data
• Assist with continuous improvement and documentation of our evolving accounting processes and procedures as well as performing audits for compliance
• Lead special projects within accounting such as: costing savings, report automation, and documenting processes
• Maintain accurate financial record of all receivable transactions
• Ad Hoc Analysis

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Daily use of MS Excel (must be strong in creating various "look ups", sumifs, and pivot tables)
• 2- or 4-year degree in relevant field

• Professional written and verbal communications skills
• Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and proactive in process-improvement
• Experience operating in a professional work environment
