Description:

We are seeking a Production Planner to join our team at RIDGID's world headquarters in Elyria, OH. Under general guidance of the Materials Manager, you are responsible for working directly with the production team to ensure efficient and effective movement of materials. You will maintain accurate planning parameters, schedule and prioritize work orders, troubleshoot issues with management, review inventory and process documentation.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Create and communicate Daily/Weekly production plan
• Review Work orders and prioritize accordingly to ensure smooth production flow
• Works directly with Business Unit Managers and supervisors to ensure proper plant prioritization
• Review unreleased work orders to determine root cause
• Review and update Planning parameters based on PFEP and plant need
• Monitor supermarkets and prioritize production
• Review blocking orders and create actions to reduce
• Work with inventory control to maintain accurate system inventories

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent professional experience
  • Relevant years of experience in Inventory Control, including Materials Planning and Procurement in a fast-paced plant environment commensurate with the level of this position.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills are critical.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Occasionally lift and maneuver 30lbs.
  • Perform complex and varied tasks that require independent knowledge, its application to a variety of situations, and the exercise of judgement.
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Experience in implementing or using JDE strongly desired.
  • Experience in warehouse distribution and working with global supply chain
