Schedule: 2 nd Shift, Mon-Thu
Pay Range: $66, 500 - $84, 775/year, based on experience
Job Summary: This position will manage and supervise the daily work performance of the employees including providing leadership, direction and training in the work duties, addressing disciplinary issues according to company policy and procedure, scheduling of personnel and partnering with Human Resources to meet hiring needs. This position will ensure employees follow proper safety procedures in the completion of daily tasks including fork lift driving; conduct communication meetings on a regular basis and coordinate the safety training of employees. This position will also be responsible for ensuring production of goods meets scheduling requirements and quality standards.

- Monitor all phases of production of work area ensuring work meets quality standards; work to resolve production issues on a daily basis
- Manage and supervise the daily work performance of the employees including providing leadership, direction and training in the performance of work duties, addressing disciplinary issues according to company policy and procedure, scheduling of personnel and partnering with Human Resources to meet hiring needs
- Ensure production meets scheduling requirements
- Work with Lab, Purchasing and Sales to coordinate and maintain daily production schedules for work area; ensure all materials are available to meet daily production needs
- Oversee the maintenance/upgrade of equipment so that equipment is fully operational and does not negatively impact the production schedule
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: - High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3+ years supervisory experience required, preferably in a similar manufacturing environment
- 3+ years manufacturing experience required
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office required, ERP experience preferred)
- Proven commitment to safety and quality within the workplace
- Demonstrated leadership skills in a variety of production and employee related issues including effective: delegation of work responsibilities; time management; interpersonal effectiveness in challenging personal situations; cultural diversity; coaching, cross-training and development for employee team members
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Successful experience participating in Continuous Improvement initiatives (6S, Visual Management, Gemba walks, Standard Work, etc.)
