We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft 365 Suite Engineering Tech Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the comprehensive Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint, Mail/Exchange, Mail Routing, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP). This position demands an in-depth understanding of Microsoft 365 technologies and the capability to lead a team of engineers in delivering top-quality solutions

Key Accountabilities/Deliverables:

  • Lead the engineering team in designing, implementing, and maintaining the full Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint, Mail/Exchange, Teams, Power Platform, Copilot, Mail Routing, and DLP.

  • Develop best practices for Microsoft 365 administration, security, and compliance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of Microsoft 365 services.

  • Manage mail routing and DLP policies to ensure data security and compliance.

  • Stay updated with the latest Microsoft 365 features and evaluate their impact on the organization.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Microsoft 365 services.

  • Maintain documentation for Microsoft 365 configurations, processes, and procedures.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

  • Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security protocols.

  • Oversee project development and ensure timely delivery.

  • Define and implement governance models for Microsoft 365 environments.

  • Align platform capabilities with business strategy and long-term vision.

  • Evaluate platform metrics and contribute to strategic planning.

  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization. Drive digital transformation initiatives.



Technical Knowledge and Understanding:

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.

  • Familiarity with other Microsoft technologies such as Azure and Active Directory.

  • Core M365 Services including SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive.

  • Scripting & Automation involving PowerShell for administrative tasks and automation.

  • Azure integration and services.

  • Security and compliance policies (e.g., DLP, MFA, Conditional Access).

  • M365 architecture and governance.

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines.

  • Preferably Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or equivalent certification.



Experience:

  • Bachelor' s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, with a Master’s degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in leading engineering teams. The candidate should have over 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership role within the Microsoft 365 suite.

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint, Exchange, and DLP.

  • Strong grasp of Microsoft 365 security and compliance features.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Hands-on experience with M365 migrations and deployments.

  • Agile development experience.

  • Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale M365 solutions.

  • Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, MS-100, MS-101.
