Job Description
Clark County Board of Developmental Disabilities is hiring a INVESTIGATIVE AGENT in Springfield, OH. This is a full-time position.
RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES: Investigates MUIs and submits written reports. Monitors unusual incident, and major unusual incident reports, and looks for patterns. Follows up with appropriate parties to ensure Individuals safety. Exercises independent judgment with regard to planning and conducting investigations. Monitors incident investigations, ensures timely submission of incident reports with the DODD ITS system, ensures appropriate notifications, immediate actions(s), corrective action(s), and prevention plans have been developed and implemented in accordance with the timelines mandated. Notifies the DDCC Service and Support personnel and/or other administrative officials of incident filings in accordance with established procedures. Ensures conflicts of interest do not exist, and immediately notifies the DODD in the event that a separate investigation is warranted. Collaborates and cooperatively works with law enforcement, children services, court systems, administrators and other entities throughout investigations. Submits comments provided by individuals, advocates, legal guardians and providers to the DODD. Monitors Individuals litigation process. Maintains appropriate MUI/UI databases. Assists the DODD Abuser Registry Unit in gathering requested incident information for registry purposes. Provides technical support into crisis intervention plans, behavior plans and family support services. Provides technical assistance to agency personnel and the DDCC constituency to ensure countywide MUI Rule interpretation consistency and operating practices. Performs statistical reviews and data analysis, utilizes and reviews ITS management reports and other assigned reports to gauge compliance and identification of emerging trends and patterns. Assists in the development, design and implementation of Protection From Harm systems, policies, procedures, administrative duties, and other related duties. Assists & independently conducts Board approved training programs related to mandated rule(s), policies and procedures, and other as assigned. Attends conferences and in-services as assigned. Participates in Division meetings, task forces, interagency meetings, coalitions, and other assigned meetings. Performs other related duties as required, to include but not limited to: serving on committees, and/or serving as a trainer. Represents the Board as assigned.
