Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team on a PRN/Part-Time basis. This is a great opportunity to work in a skilled nursing facility that values professional growth, teamwork, and resident-centered care.
Position Summary: As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to help patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life. Your role will be vital in helping residents achieve their therapy goals and return to their highest level of function.
Responsibilities: - Assist in implementing physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Deliver high-quality, one-on-one therapy sessions to residents.
- Monitor resident progress and report findings to the Physical Therapist.
- Document patient care services accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive resident care.
- Comply with federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current PTA license in the state of Ohio (or eligible for licensure).
- CPR certification required.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric setting preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
