Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens
• Label and track resident items to support accurate return and reduce loss
• Follow laundering instructions and use proper water temperatures and products
• Maintain clean, safe laundry and storage areas; disinfect high-touch surfaces
• Operate washers, dryers, and related equipment safely; report issues promptly
• Restock linens and support unit supply needs as assigned
• Follow infection control, PPE, and safety procedures at all times

Qualifications:

• Laundry or housekeeping experience helpful, training may be provided
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and respectful in a resident-centered environment
• Able to manage repetitive tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced shift
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Qualification

Education and/or Experience

GED or High School Diploma

1 year of experience preferred

Language Skills

Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry/housekeeping procedures

Reasoning Ability

Ability to problem solve and seek assistance when needed.
