We are seeking to hire a Scheduler, Analytical Labs to join our Analytical Sciences Team

JOB SUMMARY

The Scheduler will work under the direct supervision of Lab Management and in close collaboration with the Manufacturing, Commercial, Quality, and R& D teams to develop and maintain detailed laboratory schedules. This role supports a range of activities required to achieve lab objectives, including the planning and scheduling of stability samples, manufacturing intermediates, and customer orders. The Scheduler must be able to understand broader strategic objectives and translate them into clear, actionable plans for the lab that aligns with schedule from Manufacturing. Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to build effective relationships across a diverse internal stakeholder group.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

  • Plan and schedule lab execution based on multiple schedule inputs
  • Manage execution flow from inception through completion
  • Manage component shortages to resolution
  • Perform planning and production tasks, anticipate program needs, and facilitate expediting of material in support of production and shipping schedules
  • Responsible for developing, coordinating and communicating the daily schedule including updates based on work completed.
  • Measure performance of all critical factors as assigned to ensure compliance to plan, including publishing of KPI’s.
  • Lead issue resolution and communication when samples are behind schedule or at risk of being behind schedule.
  • Own requests from start to finish, including troubleshooting any discrepancies immediately with a common goal of correcting the problems.
  • Ensure accurate and timely full completion of analyses.
  • Occasionally may be required to create purchase requisitions
  • Interface with manufacturing, engineering, quality, purchasing, and management to provide a timely status of work products and/or problem identification and resolution.
  • Understand customer orders and assignment of product to fulfill requirements
  • Work closely with all functional areas of the business.
  • Own customer service and quality related performance.
  • Maintain status on all testing along with ERP system transactions as required.
  • Special projects as required.
  • Ability to export data and complete basic analytics and create presentations
  • Other duties as assigned


REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent); combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
  • Experience in planning or lab operations
  • Exposure to the use of ERP software in operations management or planning
  • Working knowledge of common computer software, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience in an FDA regulated industry a plus
  • Works effectively under deadlines.
  • Acts as the company’s representative by showing respect and being ambassador for the established beliefs and behaviors of the Company.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of methods, procedures and regulations necessary for the smooth operation of the business.
  • Respects policies, procedures and regulations in force in the company.
  • Completes assigned tasks in a safe manner and in a constant state of alertness.
