Join Our Team as Senior Power Systems Engineer

Are you a passionate electrical engineer with a knack for statistical analysis and data analytics?

We are on the lookout for two dynamic Power Systems Engineers to join our team!

This is your chance to design and optimize cutting-edge power systems while ensuring they meet standards. If you're ready to travel the world and engage with clients, this role is perfect for you!

The position can be based anywhere in any of our Swedish offices.

What will you do:

  • Innovate and enhance electrical power systems for maximum efficiency and reliability.

  • Lead, design, and create customer projects across the Nordic zone within EcoConsult portfolio.

  • Provide applied engineering and technical consultation for customers in power systems studies, design, installation, startup, maintenance, repair, and training.

  • Interpret specifications and customer inquiries to design technical proposals and pricing.

  • Deliver technical solutions that may involve equipment design or upgrades, testing, and improvements in safety, reliability, or efficiency.

  • Mentor and lead other engineers on medium-sized projects.

  • Conduct Short-Circuit, LV/MV Coordination, and Arc Flash studies.

  • Independently manage medium-sized studies and projects.


What will help you to succeed

  • A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of power systems engineering experience.

  • Experienced with power system simulation software like PSS/E, ETAP, or DIgSILENT.

  • Expertise in statistical analysis and data analytics tools like Python, R, MATLAB, and Excel.

  • Knowledge of relevant standards in electrical design.

  • Stellar communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for negotiation.

  • A problem-solving mindset with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality.

  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time for exciting customer engagements.


Preferred Extras:

  • Experience in pre-sales engineering or customer-facing roles.

  • Experience in lead engineering roles.
