Position Overview The General Dentist will provide comprehensive, high-quality dental care to patients of varying ages and backgrounds, emphasizing prevention, education, treatment, and long-term oral health. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning. Provide general dentistry services, including preventive, restorative, and other procedures within the provider's training and scope of practice. Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options. Develop individualized treatment plans that address patients' clinical needs and circumstances. Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate, timely, and complete electronic dental records. Follow established clinical protocols, infection prevention standards, and quality assurance requirements. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support UPC's commitment to accessible, patient-centered care. Provide compassionate, culturally responsive care to patients regardless of insurance coverage or financial circumstances.
