Schedule: Full-Time: Monday - Friday 10: 00am-6: 00pm Some Job Responsibilities: Program Quality & Compliance: Conducts regular audits of individual's files and facility logs to ensure compliance with state licensing (e.g., OCFS, OPWDD) and regulatory standards. Incident Management: Reviews all serious incident reports, conducts internal investigations when necessary, and ensures appropriate corrective actions are implemented. Clinical Coordination: Oversees the intake and discharge processes, ensuring that treatment plans, educational and medical needs are met. Budget & Resource Management: Monitors program spending, manage petty cash, children's personal allowances and oversees the maintenance of the physical building and program vehicles. On-Call Support: Serves as a point of contact for after-hours emergencies, providing guidance during crises. Community Liaison: Represents the Program in meetings with caseworkers, school districts, and family members to coordinate care. Performance Management: Provides direct supervision to Residential Supervisors and Shift Leads, including conducting weekly 1: 1s and annual performance evaluations. Staff Development: Identifies training gaps and facilitates trainings on topics like de-escalation techniques, boundaries, and documentation. Recruitment & Retention: Leads the hiring process for direct care staff and develops initiatives to reduce staff burnout and turnover. Schedule Oversight: Ensures the program maintains staffing ratios at all times, managing overtime and approving leave requests. Disciplinary Action: Handles personnel issues, including conflict resolution between staff members and executing formal disciplinary procedures. Culture Leadership: Fosters a supportive and engaging environment for staff to ensure they are equipped to complete their job responsibilities and grow to their full potential. Job Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Services field preferred; Five years' supervisory experience working with individuals who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities; Knowledge of Federal, State and OPWDD regulations; Valid NYS driver's license required; Excellent writing and verbal communication skills; Exceptional organization and time management skills; Ability to multi-task, prioritize and problem solve; Must be able to perform physical activities such as (but not limited to); twisting, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing; Must be able to sit, walk, drive, and stand for prolonged periods of time; Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
