Job Summary The Loss Prevention / Security Officer supports daily security and loss prevention operations to help maintain a safe, secure, and compliant environment for employees, customers, visitors, and company assets. This position monitors facilities, responds to incidents, documents concerns, supports investigations, and partners with operational leadership to uphold company policies and procedures. Primary Responsibilities Monitor TMG facilities using electronic surveillance systems and other approved security resources.Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity.Protect patrons, associates, and company assets through surveillance, patrols, and proactive security measures.Observe facility activity and document matters requiring review or follow-up, including policy violations, suspicious activity, unauthorized access, safety concerns, liability concerns, and matters that may affect operations or public image.Support company leadership with accident and incident reporting and assist in preparing accurate documentation.Maintain a log of routine duties and activities completed during each shift.Provide building access to authorized associates and identify unauthorized access attempts.Serve as a liaison with law enforcement and operational management during emergencies and critical incidents.Ensure the facility remains secure and provide fire watch coverage as assigned.Conduct foot patrols throughout the facility as required, unless assigned to another documented duty.Assist with the transportation of deposits and ATM refills when assigned.Support camera installation, maintenance, and cleaning as needed.Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment and perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior security, surveillance, or related experience strongly preferred.Knowledge of surveillance equipment and basic security procedures preferred.Valid drivers license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation required.Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.Ability to work required shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a 24/7 operation.Ability to sit for extended periods and remain attentive while monitoring surveillance systems.Ability to work in extreme or inclement weather during emergencies.Organized, professional, culturally aware, and able to maintain confidentiality.Computer proficiency, including internet access and Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working within Native American territories, Tribal communities, or culturally diverse environments.One year of related security, surveillance, safety, or loss prevention experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Strong teamwork, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.Ability to anticipate concerns, solve problems, and meet deadlines. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while conducting patrols and monitoring facilities.Ability to sit for prolonged periods when reviewing surveillance footage, completing reports, or performing administrative tasks.Frequent movement throughout indoor and outdoor environments, including stairways, parking areas, warehouses, and office settings.Ability to respond quickly to security incidents and emergency situations.Capability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach to inspect areas, equipment, and access points.Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to50 pounds, with occasional lifting of heavier items using teamassistanceor equipment asappropriate.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential functions of the position, consistent with applicable law.
