Description:

TileBar is seeking a Sr. Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage new showroom and facilities construction projects from inception to completion.

This role requires a combination of leadership, technical expertise, and effective communications skills to coordinate with various stakeholders, subcontractors, and team members.

Project Management
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate cost estimation and tracking.
  • Understanding project management methodology focusing on risks to projects delivery which includes identifying and forecasting project issues with the objective of mitigating risk.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for new showroom and refresh projects
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Real Estate, Finance, Accounts Payable, Marketing, IT, Visual Merchandising, Retail
  • Work with FF& E PM to project orders and understand long lead times
  • Ensure vendor invoices are being processed and paid in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying critical path milestones.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation for future reference
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor expenditures, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Compile TI documentation and prepare TI package in timely manner
  • Conduct regular site visits to each open project

Quality Assurance
  • Ensure adherence to local building codes, safety regulations, and other relevant standards.
  • Establish and enforce quality control and safety protocols throughout the project.
  • Implement corrective measures to address deviations from project plans.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges and develop risk mitigation strategies.

Communications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Establish clear communication with internal partners, external vendors, etc.
  • Communicate schedule and budget changes to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, or a related field preferred
  • 8-10 years proven experience as a Construction Project Manager in retail, hospitality or restaurant roll out
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Auto CAD, Microsoft office
