RECONN is a leader in the utility industry, concentrating on quality and safety. We have full-time Damage Prevention Technician positions available in Albany, Poughkeepsie and New City, NY. The starting pay for this position is $21.00/hour. A company vehicle will be provided in Poughkeepsie and New City and will be optional in Albany. If the employee chooses to use their own personal vehicle for work purposes, an additional $5/hour will be provided ($21/hour + $5/hour).

What We Need from You (Our Requirements):

• Strong verbal and written communication and documentation skills required
• Outstanding safety/quality record
• High level of organizational skills, excellent time management skills, and the ability to focus on details
• Knowledge of all types of gas prints
• One-year experience locating gas assets preferred
• Must be able to pass a drug screen
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required
• Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions; outdoor experience preferred
• Must be able to work in a confined space; walk, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds
