Description:

The Team:

The Communications department is responsible for strategic deployment of Press & Influencer Relations, Special Events, Advertising and Windows across all media channels to support the growth of awareness for Hermès in the US. Our mission is to share the rich story of Hermès, highlighting the value of creativity, commitment to quality and signature craftmanship model.

The Opportunity:

As Senior Director, Windows, you lead and define the creative and operational direction of the national window program. You oversee concept development through production across quarterly rollouts, and artist projects while managing internal and external teams to ensure alignment with Paris and consistency across all US stores.

About the Role:

Program & Project Leadership
  • Direct 1-2 seasonal rollouts per quarter across multiple store formats
  • Define and oversee rollout strategy and calendars across all phases
  • Direct artist projects program on a seasonal basis
  • Lead cross-functional coordination across internal teams, Paris stakeholders, and external partners
  • Manage project teams and resources to ensure timelines, quality, and delivery
  • Set program structure, workflows, and standards across all window rollouts

Creative & Artist Direction
  • Define the creative direction of each rollout and lead the selection and development of artists and creative partners
  • Provide clear creative direction and feedback throughout concept and design phases
  • Oversee pitch development and presentations to Paris, incorporating feedback into execution
  • Ensure storytelling, product integration, and brand alignment remain central

Design & Production Development
  • Oversee the development of scalable window systems, ensuring alignment between creative vision, brand standards, and execution
  • Oversee development of design assets, including module variations, graphics, and material direction
  • Direct 3D modeling workflows and manage contractors to ensure design accuracy
  • Maintain high standards of craftsmanship, feasibility, and visual impact

Production & Implementation Oversight
  • Oversee production strategy and partner performance across all fabrication vendors
  • Oversee prototyping, sampling, and quality control
  • Align design intent with budgets while maintaining qualitative standards
  • Partner with Windows Logistics to coordinate installation schedules
  • Continuously improve production workflows, vendor performance, and rollout efficiency
  • Establish standards for quality, materials, and execution across all locations
  • All other duties assigned by supervisor


Supervisory Responsibility:

Yes - leads and develops internal team members, external partners, and contractors supporting the windows program, including 3D, production, and project-based roles

Budget Responsibility:
  • YES


About You:
  • 10+ years' experience in window design, exhibition design, or production-led creative environments
  • Strong creative leadership with experience managing teams and external partners
  • Deep understanding of materials, fabrication, and 3D development processes
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-phase projects across timelines and budgets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong design sensibility and production rigor

The range for this role is $150, 000 - $190, 000 . Actual rates are determined based on the job, location, and individual experience.
