Description:

We are seeking a new team member for the Reconciliations team:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily nostro Bank account reconciliations using Metro CARS.


  • Monitor any items in Metro CARS repair queue and fix as needed.


  • Research any open items / inquiries using MTS.


  • Prepare and distribute open items reports to all back-office units.


  • Monitor balances in nostro accounts, provide explanations for any overdraft balances.


  • Prepare and distribute aged open items reports to all unit heads.


  • Perform daily reconciliation of checks and lockbox accounts and distribute to appropriate back-office unit.


  • Using Seclen, run (and suppress items when directed) Custodian and Pledge reports for the security operations team and distribute.


  • Liaise with back-office units to investigate any open or matched item.


  • Prepare open reconciliation report from the report center / excel.


  • Using a macro, prepare matched daily statistics and matched rates.


  • Prepare end of day reports, including Portrait open items reports, Match items reports, daily statistics, and accounts complete / incomplete reports, distribute.


  • Provide support for ad-hoc operations, procedure changes / updates, system related matters.


  • Take care of any internal / external audit inquiries.


  • Prepare and distribute monthly payroll reconciliations.


  • Prepare and distribute Mizuho Foundation Report quarterly,


  • Provide backup support coverage for team members out of the office.


  • Comply with all quarterly legal, compliance and training requirements


  • The expected base salary ranges from $59, 000 - $100, 000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
